8.5 Adjusting the placement depth of the seed
The placement depth can be set centrally for
each coulter group via the crank (Fig. 103/1).
The setting scale (Fig. 103/2) makes it possible
to evenly adjust all coulter groups to each other.
The arrow (Fig. 103/3) indicates the read-off
edge.
• Values from 0 to 5 can be set.
• The values do not indicate the placement
depth in cm.
• The set placement depth varies strongly
depending on the soil.
• Check the actual placement depth shortly
after starting work and occasionally during
operation

8.6 Adjusting the double rollers
In addition to controlling the depth of the chisels,
d
ouble rollers are also responsible for closing the
sowing slot.
Double rollers can be adapted to the ground
conditions by adjusting the setting angle between
0° and 32°.
• Set a larger angle for direct sowing.
• Set a smaller angle for mulch sowing.
94
Adjusting the double rollers
1. Undo both screw unions (Fig. 104/1) on a
roller.
2. Swivel the roller to the desired angle.
3. Retighten both screw unions.
4. Repeat the operation on the second roller.
