5.9 Seed sluice / fertiliser sluice
The seed sluice is under the metering unit.
(1) Seed sluice
Only for 18.75 cm row spacing: Hand lever of
the sluice flap for one-sided switching:
• Centre position: Use the whole working
width for seeding.
• Left: Use half the working width on the right
for seeding.
• Right: Use half the working width on the left
for seeding.
(2) Fertiliser sluice
The fertiliser sluice does not have one-sided
switching.
(3) Injector
The seed falls into the injector sluice and is di-
rected by the air current to the distributor head
and then on to the coulters.
The injector has a flap for the calibration test or
residual emptying.

5.10 Calibration trough
The calibration quantity drops into the calibration
trays in the calibration test (Fig. 27/1).
Use the calibration trough to calibrate seed and
fertiliser.
