Regular and proper maintenance will keep your machine in good
condition for a long time, and will prevent premature wear. Regu-
lar and proper maintenance is a requirement of our warranty
conditions.
Use only genuine AMAZONE spare parts (see "Spare and wear
parts and aids" section, page 15).
Use only genuine AMAZONE replacement hoses, and hose
clamps made of V2A for assembly.
Specialist knowledge is required for carrying out testing and
maintenance operations. This specialist knowledge is not im-
parted here in this operating manual.
Observe environmental protection measures when carrying out
cleaning and maintenance work.
Observe legal requirements when disposing of lubricants, e.g.
oils and grease. Parts that come into contact with these lubri-
cants are also affected by these legal requirements.
Do not exceed a greasing pressure of 400 bar when greasing
with high pressure grease guns.
The following are absolutely prohibited:
ο drilling the chassis.
ο enlarging pre-existing drilled holes on the transport frame.
ο welding on load-bearing components.
Protective measures are necessary, such as covering or remov-
ing lines in particularly critical locations
ο during welding, drilling and grinding work.
ο when working with cut-off wheels near plastic wires and
electric wires.
Disconnect the machine cable and power supply from the on-
board computer when carrying out any cleaning or maintenance
work. This applies especially to welding work on the machine.
