4.5 Intended use
The AMAZONE fertiliser spreader ZA-X / ZA-XW
• is designed exclusively for conventional agricultural applications
and is suitable for spreading dry, granuled, prilled and crystalline
fertiliser, seed and slug pellets.
• is attached to the tractor's three-point hydraulic system and op-
erated by one person.
• must only be mounted on a transport frame approved by AMA-
ZONEN-Werke.
• Sloping terrain can be travelled as follows:
ο Along the contours
Direction of travel to the left 15 %
Direction of travel to the right 15 %
ο Along the gradient
Up the slope 15 %
Down the slope 15 %
The intended use also includes:
• Compliance with all the instructions in this operating manual.
• Execution of inspection and maintenance work.
• Exclusive use of original AMAZONE spare parts.
Other uses to those specified above are forbidden and shall be con-
sidered as improper.
For any damage resulting from improper use:
• the operator bears the sole responsibility,
• AMAZONEN-WERKE accepts no liability.
