Table 19. Boot the X7 from the Recovery CD

STEP ACTION

Connect a USB CD-ROM Drive to the USB port.

Place the recovery CD in the CD drive.

Select Boot Manager.

Boot the system and press the <ESC> key when the

ARMOR splash screen

appears.

Select the CD drive (the exact text depends on the type of drive being used).

The recovery disc can actually make a brand new backup, which can be handy if you want to

copy a data partition on a PC that’s no longer bootable.
