Error messages
OUT OF WATER Zero-setting error
OUT OF ORDER The current prism temperature (PRESENT) cannot reach the specified
target temperature (TARGET) because the target temperature is lower
than the ambient temperature by more than 10℃ or higher by 55℃.
RETURN TO MODE SET The thermo module malfunctioned while adjusting the mode settings.
※ "Over" is displayed when the measurement values are erroneous, or user scales
(upper and lower limits) are not set-up.
※ When measured in the Brix or nD scale, the values are displayed as "****=,” not as
"UUUU=XXXXXXX.”
From a Computer to the Instrument
1. Apply sample/purified water.
2. Choose from the list of commands (directives) below and press Enter to perform the corresponding
operations.
Command : Operation
*MEAS Used in the home screen to displays the measurement screen.
*START Used in the measurement screen to initiate a measurement.
*ZERO Used in the measurement screen to initiate zero-setting.
*SCALE"XXX"
Used in the measurement screen to switch to the specified scale.
(For example, a command "SCALE015" will render the scale #015.)
※ If a command is mistyped, re-type in a new row.
※ No other commands except for those in the table above will be recognized.
※ Only registered scale numbers will be recognized.
