What to do if Atlas Copco DC 200 Cutter has unusually loud noise from the hydraulic motor?
    • D
      dianawhiteAug 16, 2025
If there's an unusually loud noise coming from the hydraulic motor of your Atlas Copco Cutter, it could be due to air inclusions in the hydraulic circuit or motor. Bleed the system to resolve this. Another possible cause is too little pressure backed up in the tank line, so execute hydraulic installation as per version 1. It may also be caused by damage to internal parts due to foreign matter, consult the Atlas Copco Customer Center/dealer in your area. Rinse tank line. Replace tank line filter cartridge.

Why Atlas Copco Cutter drums turn too slowly?
    • C
      Casey MosleyAug 20, 2025
The slow turning of the Atlas Copco Cutter drums could be due to a low hydraulic pump delivery volume, so increase the delivery volume. It could also be caused by poor efficiency of the pump for the hydraulic motor, in which case you should replace the hydraulic motor or pump. Another cause is oil leaks between the hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor, so replace any damaged hydraulic hoses and tighten the connection elements.

What to do if Atlas Copco transverse drum cutter stops moving with light pressure?
    • V
      Vincent HurleyAug 25, 2025
If your Atlas Copco transverse drum cutter stops moving with light pressure, the carrier operating pressure may be too low. Check the operating pressure and adjust it to the recommended value.

What causes unusually loud gear noise in Atlas Copco Cutter?
    • B
      Benjamin JacksonAug 27, 2025
Unusually loud gear noise in your Atlas Copco Cutter is caused by damage to internal gear parts, consult Atlas Copco Customer Center/Dealer in your region and replace gear.

What causes unusual oscillation of the Atlas Copco DC 200 drums?
    • R
      Ronald ElliottAug 31, 2025
Unusual oscillation of the Atlas Copco Cutter drums is caused by round attack picks being worn, damaged, or having uneven head lengths. Replace the round attack picks to resolve this.

Why Atlas Copco DC 200 round attack picks do not turn?
    • T
      Tracie KellerSep 4, 2025
Atlas Copco Cutter round attack picks may not turn due to corrosion or cutting material lodged between the pick shaft and pick box. Following extended storage disassemble round attack picks. Clean pick shafts after finishing work and spray with a creeping corrosion protection spray. In case of difficult work (cutting asphalt) consult Atlas Copco Customer Center/Dealer in your region.

What causes overpressure cover deformation for the hydraulic motor, oil leak on sealing surface, oil leak at the pressure limiting valve in Atlas Copco DC 200?
    • R
      Richard WilliamsSep 7, 2025
This issue is caused by pressure in the leakage oil line being too high, the leakage oil line not installed separately, leakage oil filter not maintained, a shut-off valve in the leakage oil line closed, or a plug coupling not correctly latched. Install leakage oil line as per hydraulic installation version 1 or 2 and measure oil pressure.

Why are the Atlas Copco DC 200 drums not turning or blocked?
    • S
      Stefanie GarciaNov 11, 2025
The Atlas Copco Cutter drums may not turn or could be blocked due to several reasons: cutting material trapped between the cutter drum and gear. To resolve this, shut down the machine, depressurize it, and safeguard against restart before removing the trapped cutting material. Briefly run the cutter in reverse. Other causes include low hydraulic pump pressure (increase pressure via the excess pressure valve, observing maximum values), no oil pressure (check hydraulic pump and valves), damage to the internal parts of the hydraulic motor (consult the Atlas Copco Customer Center/Dealer in your area. Rinse leakage oil line. Exchange hydraulic motor. Replace tank line/leakage oil filter cartridge), damage to the internal parts of the gear (consult the Atlas Copco Customer Center/Dealer in your ...
