7.3.11 Boss Monitoring Admins, Seizing a Call Put on Hold by an Admin
Boss can monitor Admin when Admin is in a call on Boss’ behalf. If Admin's line key on Boss'
phone flashes red slowly, it indicates to Boss that Admin is in a call on Boss' behalf. Boss can
long-press the line key to see at a glance with whom Admin is talking and for how long they've
been talking.
In the example above, Admin (Alan Roberts) answered a call on Boss' behalf from Steve. They've
been talking for 34 seconds.
If Boss long-presses the red-flashing line key of Admin (Alan Roberts, in the example below)
and Admin has put the call with Steve on hold, Boss will see that the call is on hold and that
the PickUp option is available.
Boss can press the PickUp softkey to seize the call from Admin, who'll be disconnected.
Boss can then talk with the other side (Steve).
7.3.12 Admin Picks up a Call from Boss
Admin can pick up a call from Boss:
A call comes in and Admin determines that Boss has answered it because Admin didn't
answer and the Programmable Key on Admin's phone is flashing
Admin long-presses the Programmable Key to verify that Boss indeed answered and is in a
call
If Boss puts the caller on hold, the Pick up softkey displays on Admin's phone
Admin presses the Pick up softkey and picks up the call from Boss
7.3.13 Admin 1 Picks up a Call from Admin 2
Admin 1 can pick up a call from Admin 2:
A call comes in and Admin 2 answers it on behalf of Boss
Admin 1 sees in Admin 1’s LCD that Admin 2 has taken the call on behalf of Boss
Admin 1 long-presses the Programmable Key
If Admin 2 puts the caller on hold, the Pick up softkey displays in Admin 1's LCD
Admin 1 presses the Pick up softkey and picks up the call from Admin 2
