7.6.2 Performing a Consultative Transfer
You can consult with a party before transferring the call to them.
To perform a consultative transfer:
1. In a call with Steve, he asks you – Donald - to transfer him to Hilary. Press the softkey.
2. Scroll down in the Call Menu to select Consultation transfer.
3. In the TRANSFER TO field, enter Hilary's number and press the Dial softkey; Hilary's phone
rings and Hilary answers:
4. Press the Trans. softkey.
Hilary is connected to Steve.
