9.12 Connections to Mimic Drivers (BUR-200)
The BUR-200 is a Mimic Driver that is capable of driving 32 LEDs
with series resistors on a mimic panel for additional indication of
alarms. In addition, 8 standard monitored inputs can be used for
reading various switches.
Power redundancy is achieved by using a daisy-chain connection
with master and slave drivers. A maximum of 8 Mimic Drivers can
be connected to the panel bus, providing a total of 256 outputs and
64 monitored inputs.
Note that when connecting additional panels on a panel bus, the
communication cables inside the cabinet (Fire Alarm Control
Panel) must be connected as shown in chapter 9.10.
CAUTION
Do not connect the 24V wire to the terminal points used for
communication (A and B terminals). This will lead to
malfunction of the communication circuits.
