cabinet (10 mV/°C). These temperature readings are input to the
fan control software.
The fan control software cycles the fan on and off with a hysteresis
of 2°C at the temperature threshold; i.e., at 38°C the fan turns on,
and at 36°C the fan turns off. This is valid also in Calibration
Mode.
At 50°C, a cabinet temperature alarm occurs that results in the
Instrument shutting down.

The fan power driver is located on the Blood Pump Power board;
however a motor rate signal from the Blood Pump Controller
board determines the input signal for the fan motor.
