Data deletion
You can delete files already backed up, this will allow you to control the amount of data backed up, and if necessary,
free up space by erasing unwanted files or obsolete versions of data.
1. Log on to the Beemo appliance with the ’admin’ user or the user of the account if they have
’Delete’ rights (see Section 6.1).
2. From the list of backupsets, click on the one you whose files you wish to choose
to delete. 5 tabs open in the right window.
3. Click on the Delete tab, the window on the right then contains the tree structure of the files
saved on your machine.
4. Set display filters for files and directories according to your needs. See sections 7.2.2 to 7.2.3.
5. Click on
Run the deletion and the files and directories selected will be deleted from this backupset only.
6. Click on
Delete all and all the files and directories will be deleted from this backup
set. Your backupset will no longer contain files available for restoration.
Option to be used with great caution.
REMARK : When you delete files from a backupset, they are immediately and permanently
deleted from the
Beemo appliance and from storage centres. In no case will the files on
your machine be deleted.
