Time Constant 1 1 (0 to 9999,9 sec):
Enter the time constant in seconds. The computer calculates a slid-
ing average of the area weight over this time. The higher the time
constant entered, the lower the statistical variations of the output
signal, the longer, however, the response to sudden changes
- Time constant 2
(Only available via the button combination SK1 & clear.)
This time constant smoothes the statistics of the count rate prior to
the calculation and is independent of time constant 1. In most
cases, the standard value of 1 s is correct. Any change of this time
constant should be made only after consultation with BERTHOLD
TECHNOLOGIES.
- Time constant for tacho or moisture input
(Available via Time constant 2 + <more>.)
This time constant smoothes the current input. In most cases, the
standard value of 1 s is correct. A higher value will smooth the
measured value at the current input more, but at the same time
delays the response to the load.
Curr. Input
(Only when operating mode with moisture compensation has
been selected)
Select the initial value 0 or 4 mA of the current input signal
(28a/28c).
Curr. Input limits
(Only when operating mode with moisture compensation has
been selected)
0/4mA lower limit value in % moisture
20 mA upper limit value in % moisture
or
(Only when operating mode with tachometer with current in-
put has been selected)
0/4mA lower limit value in m/s
20 mA upper limit value in m/s
Belt speed (0 to 99,99 m/s)
(Only when operating mode constant belt speed
or with moisture compensation has been selected)
Enter the constant belt speed in m/s.
