Product Select
No. 1 to 10
Select the calibration product and confirm with <enter>. Please
note that the product number set in the Measuring Parameter
menu is identical with the product number selected here. Other-
wise, no calibration measurement is possible, but only manual en-
try of the calibration data sets since the <run> button is locked.
Data Input
Background for rod detector
If a rod detector is used, you have to enter the background. The
count rate is read in over a period of approx. 60 s. The measure-
ment is started and stopped by pushing the <run> button. The
value confirmed with <enter> is saved.
For more information on this subject please see Background on
page 68.
1. Value to 10. Value
For calibration of the radiometric bulk flow measurement you can
enter or read in max. 10 calibration points. You need at least 1
calibration point, but you have to run through all 10 points.
Calibration points with zero values are not calculated. If a calibra-
tion point includes a count rate with „0“ cps, this and all following
calibration points are not used for calculation.
Values confirmed with <enter> are stored, so that the individual
parameters and measured values are always available. Therefore,
the calibration points can be entered at different times.
With the <enter> button you can scroll through the individual
units of measure for the respective calibration points. The cursor
position indicates the active row.
Press the <more> button to display the next calibration point.
Tip: Write down all values of the calibration points immediately.
In this manner, you can easily correct incorrect entries in the cali-
bration points.
Before recording a calibration point, you should determine
and enter the tare count rate. In the other case, also when
the tare count rate is entered later, the count rates in the
calibration points change.
