Input unknown letters with “?” or “*”.
Press , the list of words matching with your input will be displayed.
* Press / to look up on the previous/next page.
* Press / to move the cursor to select words.
Press to search.
Note:
“?” stands for an unknown letter; “*” stands for a string of unknown letters.
Neither “?” nor “*” can be input as the first letter.
Take looking up “babel” in English-Chinese Dictionary for example:
Input “b*e?” Press
Double tap “babel”, or press [5] to select the word.
4.3 Cross Search
When the current dictionary does not contain the word/character you want to
look up, the device will transfer to other dictionaries. If the word/character is avail-
able in other dictionaries, it will display the explanation.
The cross search order: (circular mode)
English word: Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary-> English-Chinese
Dictionary -> DIY Dictionary
