During and after a sterilization the temperature of the inner surfaces almost equals the set-point.
CAUTION
The inner doors, the inner door and glass door handles, and the inner chamber will
become hot during a sterilization.
Danger of burning.
Do NOT touch the inner doors, the inner door and glass door handles, and the inner
surfaces after a sterilization.
WARNING
Stability hazard.
Danger of injury.
Damage to the chamber and the charging material.
Housing cover breakaway.
Do NOT climb on the lower housing cover.
Do NOT load the lower housing cover with heavy objects while the chamber door is
open.
1.6 Precautions when working with gases
Notes on handling carbon dioxide (CO
2
)
Carbon dioxide (CO
2
) in high concentrations is hazardous to health. It is colorless and almost odorless
and therefore practically imperceptible. Vent out any CO
2
gas that may escape via good room ventilation
or a suitable connection to an exhaust system. We recommend installing a CO
2
warning system
WARNING
High concentration of CO
2
(> 4 Vol.-%).
Risk of death by suffocation.
Danger of poisoning.
Do NOT set up chambers in non-ventilated recesses.
Ensure technical ventilation measures.
Observe the relevant regulations for handling CO
2
.
