Wipe gauge plate away from blade.
Never wipe towards the blade.

Wipe carriage.
Clean carriage tray - side with a cloth,
scrubber an brush.
Leave surfaces dry in the air.

The scale must be dry to avoid a force shunt during operation.
Removed parts
Clean removed parts in warm water using a soft cleaning agent. Leave to dry in the air.
Do not clean blade cover in the dishwasher.
