2.1.10 Functions Available Only if a Cow Num-
ber is Assigned
2.1.10.1 Sort Cow
If a cow number has been assigned and the system has an au-
tomatic sort gate it is possible to tell the SmartDairy Controller
to catch the cows after they leave the parlor.
Parameters:
1. SmartDairy Controller required
2. Used on all parlor types
Procedure:
1. Using the [ ] (F4) key, scroll through the available Func-
tion Keys until [Sort Cow] (F3) is available.

2. Press the Sort Cow Key (F3). You will be given four choices:
-[No Sort] (F1) : do not sort this cow.
-[Sort 1] (F2) : catch this cow in the rst sort pen.
-[Sort 2] (F3) : catch this cow in the second sort pen.
-[ ] (F4) : cancel the Sort Cow function.
