4.4 Using the Milk Sampler
The milk sampler is a uid-collecting vessel that mounts to
the milk meter and permits the collection of a test sample of
a cow’s milk while milking. Collection occurs throughout the
cow’s milking during each dump cycle to give the best cross-
section sample of the cow’s milk. Refer to literature 9E-713
for installation and operation instructions. After the milking,
the sampler must be hand washed. It is not designed to be
cleaned in place on the meter.
