7.5 Upgrade Software on all Controls in
Parlor
If either the TouchPoint or SmartControl Meter requires the
software to be upgraded, use the following procedure which
will update all the controls in the parlor at the same time. The
TouchPoint will require three to ve minutes and the Smart-
Control Meter will require two to four minutes. The software
for either control cannot be upgraded during a milking or when
washing the pipeline.
1. Start the BouMatic conguration software if it has not been
started.
2. Select the control to be upgraded: TouchPoint or Smart-
Control Meter.
3. Upgrade the software.
4. Verify the operation of the detacher by observing the milk-
ing of a minimum of three three cows.
