Messages
The BBP
®
33 Sign & Label Printer contains error messages that describe what action you
should take to resolve any messages or errors.
Messages indicate the problem for the task being performed and also provide a possible
corrective action.
Printing Errors

Printer not ready.
Error: 15
The ribbon cover is open or the
cutter is not in operating position.
Close and latch ribbon cover or move
cutter to operational position.
Printer Error.
Error: 16
Ribbon cover was opened during
printing.
Close ribbon cover.
Printer Error
Error: 21
Media wiper is not engaged. Engage media wiper arm.
Printer Error
Error: 22
Media wiper is engaged but should
not be used on this media.
Disengage the media wiper arm.
Poor print quality.
Error: 1024
Printhead needs cleaning. Clean printhead with isopropyl alcohol
and swab.
