Connecting the TLS2200
™
Printer to a PC
Complete the following steps to connect the TLS2200
™
printer to a PC:
™
1. Locate the communication port on the bottom of your TLS2200
printer. This is the
port that looks similar to a modular phone jack.

2. Plug the communications cable into the communication port and set the TLS2200
™
printer next to your PC.
3. Locate an unused serial port on the back of your PC. This port looks similar to the
diagram below.

Note: If you have a 25-pin serial port instead of a 9-pin port, you should purchase an
adapter from a computer parts supplier.
4. Plug the free end of the communications cable into the serial port and tighten the screws.
You have completed attaching the TLS2200
™
printer to your PC and are now ready to
begin installing the software.
