d) Disconnect the negative pole (-).
e) Disconnect the positive pole (+).
f) Disconnect the battery vent hose.
g) Remove the battery.
Fitting the battery
To fit the battery:
a) Clean the battery compartment.
b) Clean battery terminals and pole terminals.
c) Protect the battery terminals and pole terminals from corrosion with
acid-free grease.
d) Connect the positive terminal (+).
e) Connect negative terminal (-).
f) Make sure that the pole terminals are securely fastened.

g) Before removing the battery, pull off the air vent bracket (1) and push
it in correctly when refitting.
h) Attach the toolbox and fix it with all screws.
