9.6.3 Suppression of Kβ
During typical operation, suppression of Kβ is
necessary. For this reason, it is important to
make sure that you are using the proper filter.
See Table 9.1 for proper filter selection and the
location of the Kβ

peak. In the case of Cu radia-
tion, a Ni filter is included with the VÅNTEC-1
accessories.
