3.4.2 Air Scatter Screen
The purpose of the air scatter screen is to
reduce primary air scatter which influences the
background of the diffraction pattern, usually at
lower angles. The air scatter screen can be
attached to the primary optics. The air scatter
screen will mount to either the motorized or
fixed primary optics or to the Göbel mirrors.
