C.2 Performing the Flash Disk Instal-
lation
In order to update the embedded Linux system
on the Flash drive, do the following:
1. Open your preferred Web browser.
2. Browse the x86 based CPU-Board or PC by
typing the detector controller’s IP address
into the address field of your browser:
http://192.168.23.2
NOTE: If you are using a local proxy server,
make sure the detector controller’s IP address is
excluded by entering it as an exception in your
Web browser’s Proxy Settings menu. For Inter-
net Explorer, go to Internet Explorer > Tools >
Internet Options > Connections > LAN Set-
tings > Advanced. See Figure C.6.
