AUDIOPILOT
®
NOISE
COMPENSATION
With this feature, the sound
system monitors the noise level in
the vehicle and automatically
adjusts the volume to keep the
volume level above the back-
ground noise level.
This feature works best at lower
sound system volume settings,
where background noise is
typically louder than the sound
system volume.
If the sound system volume level is
higher than the background noise
level, the sound system volume
does not change.
1. Press the CONFIG (configure)
button to display the radio
setup menu.
2. Press the push-button under
AUTO VOL (automatic
volume).
3. Press the push-button under
ON or OFF to turn this feature
on or off.
The display will time out after ten
seconds of inactivity.
