giveninthismanualandlocallegislation.
Itisforbiddentousethemachinetocarryouttasks
otherthanthoseforwhichitisintended.Neverusethe
equipmentforsweepingthegroundtoleveloutrubble
orpushobjects(transversalstressontheattachment).
Stoptheengineandremovetheignitionkeywhenthe
machineisnotinuse,evenforshortperiodsoftime.
Theworkingareaoftheendattachmentthatismounted
mayinterferewiththemachine.Interferencemaybe
causedduetothetypeofendattachmentorinstalla-
tionofpartssuchasacabguard.Alwaysmaintaina
safemarginofdistance.(Becarefuloftoolswingorac-
cidentaloperations.)
Toaccessorexittheoperator’scompartment,theleft-
handcontrolarmmustbeintheraisedposition.Never
forgetthisbasicrequirement.
Neverleavetheoperator'scompartmentwhiletheen-
gineisrunning.
Togetinoroutofthecab,itisimperativethattheup-
perstructureframeisinlinewiththeundercarriage.
Dust,smokeormistcanreducevisibilityandcausean
accident.Reducespeedorcometoacompletehalt
untilvisibilityhasimproved.
Neverjumpdownfromthemachine.Whenalighting
fromthemachineortheupperstructure,alwaysface
themachineandusethestepsandaccesshandles.
Intheeventofanoperatingproblemorfailure,move
themachinetoasafeplace,lowertheattachmenttothe
ground,shutdowntheengineandremovetheignition
key.Locatetheproblem,reportitifnecessaryandtake
thenecessarystepstowarnothersnottoattemptto
operatethemachine.
Beforetiltingtheseatbackforward,itismandatoryto
raisethearmreststoavoidanyaccidentaloperationof
thecontrollevers.
Neverturnthekeyofthebatterymasterswitchin“O”
(Off)positionwhenengineisrunning,theelectricalsys-
temscanbedamaged.
Whentheengineisstopped,alwayswaitoneminute
minimumbeforetoplacethekeyofthebatterymas-
terswitchin“O”(Off)position,otherwisethecomputer
programofthehydraulicwillnotexitsuccessfully.
Preventingriskscausedbyvibrations
Themachine'svibrationaffectsthecomfortandinsome
casesthehealthandsafetyoftheoperator.T oreduce
vibrationriskstoaminimum:
1.Makesurethatthemachine,theequipmentandthe
toolaresuitablefortheworktobecarriedout.
2.Makesurethatthemachineisingoodconditionand
thatservicingintervalsarecompliedwith.
3.Checkthetracktensionadjustmentandtheplayin
equipmentlinkages.
4.Makesurethattheoperator'sseatandisadjustment
controlsareingoodconditionandthenadjusttheseat
tosuittheoperator'ssizeandweight.Theoperator’s
seatcomplieswiththeISO7096,2000standard,EM
6class.
Duringwork:
1.Operateallcontrolsgraduallytoensuresmoothma-
chineoperation.
2.Modifythemachine'soperationtosuittheworking
conditions.
3.Duringtravel,adjustthemachine'sspeed,reducingit
ifnecessary.
4.Makesurethatthemachine'soperatingradiusisin
goodcondition,andfreeofobstaclesandholes.
Quickcoupler(optional)
Neverplacethecontrolswitchintheunlockedposition
whenthemachineisworking.
Eachtimeabucketisinstalledonthequickcoupler,
closethebucketandraisetheattachmentsoastobe
abletomakeavisualcheckthatthebucketpiniscor-
rectlyengagedinthelatchinghook.
Thequickcouplermodiestheworkingrangeofthe
machine.Incertainattachmentpositionsthetoolmay
foulthemachine.Alwaysleaveasafetydistance.
Nevercarryoutloadhandlingusingthefrontorrear
anchoringpointsusedtoinstallthetoolonthequick
coupler.
Neverputyourhandsinsidethequickcouplerand
neverattempttoadjustorrepairthequickcouplerif
theengineisrunning.
