ROTOR - CHECKING THE INSULATION OF THE
FIELD WINDING
Z Using an ohmmeter (3), measure the resistance
between each slip ring (2) and the rotor terminals
(1). The resistance should always be infinite. If a re-
sistance is not infinite, replace the rotor.
