Hardware Features Detailed Description
Fast Ethernet Ports
The router features four fast Ethernet (FE) ports that can be connected to LAN devices such as Intelligent
Electronic Devices (IEDs), sensors, meters, protective relays, and reclosers. Table 3-10 describes how
the Fast Ethernet ports are labelled on the router and referred to in software. The ports are shown in
Figure 3-15.

Note Although port ETH 2/5 is labeled PoE, this port does not currently support Power over Ethernet (PoE).
