Configuring EtherChannels
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure the LACP port priority. This
procedure is optional.
To return the LACP port priority to the default value, use the no lacp port-priority interface
configuration command.
Command Purpose
Step 1
configure terminal Enter global configuration mode.
Step 2
interface interface-id Specify the port to be configured, and enter interface configuration
mode.
Step 3
lacp port-priority priority Configure the LACP port priority.
For priority, the range is 1 to 65535. The default is 32768. The lower the
value, the more likely that the port will be used for LACP transmission.
Step 4
end Return to privileged EXEC mode.
Step 5
show running-config
or
show lacp [channel-group-number]
internal
Verify your entries.
Step 6
copy running-config startup-config (Optional) Save your entries in the configuration file.
