Setting up the baler
Installing and removing the knives
Danger!
Working on the cutting unit can be
dangerous! Wear gloves. Turn off the tractor
engine and remove the ignition key.
To install the knives, proceed as follows:
1. Engage the knives (see “Operation”).
2. Switch off the tractor engine and remove the
ignition key.
3. When the knives are to removed from the front,
remove the crop guard.
4. Pull lever (N) on the right side out of its retaining
catch and swing it forwards.
5. The knives can be removed from the back (or from
the front, see point 3).

Locking the knives
After installing the knives, move lever (N) all the way
back until the catch locks.
Refit the crop guard (if removed).

Knife - blanking knife holder (option)
The dismantled knives or blanking knives (B) can be
kept in the holder provided (H). The holder (H) is
located on the left hand side of the machine on the
platform.
