The column tilt lock mechanism allows the operator to
adjust the steering column. The column tilt lever knob
releases the adjustment setting and the column returns to
the up position by the use of gas springs. The tilt lock
mechanism, the directional control lever are protected by
the steering column cover.
The cover can be removed for service to steering column
components. The entire column can be removed for ser-
vice or replacement.
