) Gate Lock (Optional)

Door - Verify that the cab will not run in any direction from any landing/station when
the door or gate is left open. Check all controls at all stations.
b) Latch - Verify that the interlock locks the door and remains/gate and remains locked
after a 2” (51 mm) movement away from the landing. If this does not occur, adjust
accordingly.
c) Cab Gate - Verify that if the gate is left open, all controls are inoperable.

Pit Switch (Optional)
The pit switch is located on the lower landing side at the base of the tower. Flipping the
pit switch to the OFF position must make all controls inoperable.
