POINT
As to the welding characteristic data given in Table 1.4.13, normally, use the ones
dedicated to “High” application. However in any of the following cases, use the ones for
“Standard” application.
When the welding speed is low (50cm/min or lower in general), which causes unstable
welding performance.
When the wire material is a mild steel solid or SUS, and also the wire diameter is φ
1.2. In addition, when welding on the thick plate (plate thickness would be 4.5mm or
more as a target) with this condition.
Note that the welding performance may become unstable when using the extended
power cable depending on the layout condition of cables (when the total length exceeds
30m or the cable is coiled). In that case, voltage adjustment will normally work out to bring
about stable condition. However, if the situation does not change, use the welding
characteristic data dedicated to “Standard: extension” application. (In order to register
“Standard: extension” application, change the operator qualification to “
SPECIALIST
”.)
