The 96 TB usable storage capacity drive configuration includes two operating system boot disk drives, two SSDs for cache tier,
two 12 TB disk drives for internal system storage, and 18 12 TB disk drives for customer storage capacity.

You can add one, two, or three expansion enclosures to a fully populated 96 TB 2U DM5500 server. The DM5500 expansion
enclosure configuration storage capacities are described in the following table. Note that each expansion enclosure ships fully
populated, and you can use the storage capacity for which you are licensed. For example, if you have a DM5500 configuration
with one expansion enclosure, even though the maximum usable capacity is 144 TB, you could purchase a license for 108 TB and
expand to the maximum 144 TB in increments of 12 TB.
