Static RP Configuration
Use the Static RP Configuration page to display or remove the configured
RP. The page also allows adding new static RPs by clicking the Add button.
Only one RP address can be used at a time within a PIM domain. If the PIM
domain uses the BSR to dynamically learn the RP, configuring a static RP is
not required. However, you can configure the static RP to override any
dynamically learned RP from the BSR.
To access the page, click IPv4 Multicast
→ PIM → Static RP Configuration
or IPv6 Multicast
→ PIM → Static RP Configuration.

Adding a Static RP
To add a static RP for the PIM router.

Open the Static RP Configuration page.
2 Click Add .
