Next steps
1 Install the Trusted Platform Module (TPM).
NOTE
: The TPM plug-in module is attached to the system board and cannot be removed. A replacement TPM plug-in
module will be provided for all system board replacements where a TPM plug-in module was installed.
2 Replace the following:
a Mid drive tray (if applicable)
b Rear drive cage (if applicable)
c Integrated storage controller card
d Internal USB key (if applicable)
e iDSDM/vFlash card
f All expansion card risers
g Processor and heat sink module
h Processor and DIMM blank
i Memory modules and memory module blanks
j Network daughter card
k Cooling fan assembly
l Air shroud
m Power supply unit(s)
3 Reconnect all cables to the system board.
NOTE
: Ensure that the cables inside the system are routed along the chassis wall and secured using the cable securing
bracket.
4 Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
5 Ensure that you:
a Use the Easy Restore feature to restore the Service Tag. For more information, see the Easy restore section.
b If the Service Tag is not backed up in the backup ash device, enter the Service Tag manually. For more information, see the
Entering the Service Tag section.
c Update the BIOS and iDRAC versions.
d Re-enable the Trusted Platform Module (TPM). For more information, see the Re-enabling the Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
section.
6 Import your new or existing iDRAC Enterprise license.
