If you enable peer routing, a VLT node acts as the proxy gateway for its peer.
17 Repeat steps 1 through 16 for the VLT peer node in Domain 1.
18 Repeat steps 1 through 16 for the rst VLT node in Domain 2.
19 Repeat steps 1 through 16 for the VLT peer node in Domain 2.
To verify the conguration of a VLT domain, use any of the show commands described in Verifying a VLT Conguration.
VLT Sample Conguration
To review a sample VLT conguration setup, study these steps.
1 Congure the VLT domain with the same ID in VLT peer 1 and VLT peer 2.

2 Congure the VLTi between VLT peer 1 and VLT peer 2.
3 You can congure LACP/static LAG between the peer units (not shown).
CONFIGURATION mode

: To benet from the protocol negotiations, Dell Networking recommends conguring VLTs used as facing hosts/
switches with LACP. Ensure both peers use the same port channel ID.
4 Congure the peer-link port-channel in the VLT domains of each peer unit.

5 Congure the backup link between the VLT peer units (shown in the following example).
6 Congure the peer 2 management ip/ interface ip for which connectivity is present in VLT peer 1.

8 Congure the VLT links between VLT peer 1 and VLT peer 2 to the top of rack unit (shown in the following example).
9 Congure the static LAG/LACP between ports connected from VLT peer 1 and VLT peer 2 to the top of rack unit.
