Example of Adding Interface Ranges
Dell(config-if)# interface range tengigabitethernet 5/1 - 23, tengigabitethernet 1/1 - 2

Add Ranges
The following example shows how to use commas to add VLAN and port-channel interfaces to the range.

Dening Interface Range Macros
You can dene an interface-range macro to automatically select a range of interfaces for conguration.
Before you can use the macro keyword in the interface-range macro command string, dene the macro.
To dene an interface-range macro, use the following command.
• Denes the interface-range macro and saves it in the running conguration le.

The following example shows how to dene an interface-range macro named “test” to select Ten Gigabit Ethernet interfaces 5/1 through

Choosing an Interface-Range Macro
To use an interface-range macro, use the following command.
• Selects the interfaces range to be congured using the values saved in a named interface-range macro.

The following example shows how to change to the interface-range conguration mode using the interface-range macro named “test.”
