7. To test if the controller’s IP address has been correctly assigned, press the
Search Network icon and the newly configured controller should be listed
(Figure 8).

8. Double-click on a controller’s Device Name and a window will pop up with
details of the controller. Check to make sure the parameters in the Edit
Modbus Settings tab match what is programmed into Communications
Configuration on the Protocol 3 controller (Figure 9).
