56Chapter 7: Alarm, Alerts, and Sounds
Low Alert
This notifies your patient when their sensor readings are below their
target glucose range.
High Alert
This notifies your patient when their sensor readings are above their
target glucose range.
How Your Patient is Notified
If your patient’s smart device’s sound is on, initially it vibrates and
makes a noise. If the sound is turned off, it only vibrates. Each alert has
its own vibration pattern.
