Expiry Date
Note: The printers system clock must be set up to print an accurate
expiry date value. See “Set The System Clock” on page 6-33
To insert an expiry date into the message design:
(1) Whilst creating a new message, place the cursor where the expiry
date should appear.
(2) Press the Insert button on the keyboard.
(3) Move the cursor to highlight Expired.
(4) Press the Enter button.
(5) Input the required date format into the Format text box:
(6) Move the cursor to highlight the Expired value.
(7) Enter the number of days from the date of production to the date of
expiry.
(8) Press the Enter button.
Date Format Explanation
d or D The day of the month, from 1 to 31.
dd or DD The day of the month, from 01 to 31.
M The month, from 1 to 12.
MM The month, from 01 to 12.
MMM The abbreviated name of the month.
Example: Jan, Feb, Mar etc
YY The year, from 00 to 99.
YYYY The year as a four digit number.
JJJ The date as a 3 digit Julian number.
Example: January 1st = 001
/ - . _ | SPACE Date separators.
