Time
Note: The printer’s system clock must be set up to print an accurate
time value. See “Set The System Clock” on page 6-33.
To insert the current time into the message design:
(1) Place the cursor where the time is required.
(2) Select the Time icon.
(3) Input the time format into the text box:
(4) Select Insert to confirm the time format and return to the Message
Designer.
Time Format Explanation
h The hour using a 12 hour clock from 1 to 12.
hh The hour using a 12 hour clock from 01 to 12
H The hour using a 24 hour clock from 0 to 23.
HH The hour using a 24 hour clock from 00 to 23.
m The minute from 0 to 59.
mm The minute from 00 to 59.
s The second from 0 to 59.
ss The second from 00 to 59.

tt AM or PM.
