Measure Dimension from the contact surface (4-
point bearing) to the flange-mounted surface.
Dimension e.g. 12,00 mm

( S ) Gauge blocks 5870 200 046
( S ) Digital depth gauge 5870 200 072
Determine Dimension from the flange mounted
surface (drive flange) to the bearing inner race.
Dimension e.g. 10,65 mm
EXAMPLE "A" ;
Dimension 12,00 mm
Dimension -10,65 mm
Difference 1,35 mm
Required gap
Rotor-Stator ring e.g. - 1,20 mm
gives Shim s = 0,15 mm
Assemble shim (e.g. s = 0,15 mm).
