WARNING
Risk of electric shock
Connecting devices to the MEDIBUS
interfaces can lead to an increased leakage
current. If the protective ground of one of
these devices fails, the leakage current may
rise above the permissible values.
– Only connect with the approval of the
respective device manufacturer.
– Have the leakage current checked by
service personnel.
– If the permissible value is exceeded,
disconnect the devices from the MEDIBUS
interface.
CAUTION
Risk to electrical safety
To ensure electrical safety, only connect devices
to the serial port (COM 1) with a maximum
nominal voltage of 24 Vdc that meet one of the
following standards:
– IEC 60950-1: Ungrounded SELV circuits
– IEC 60601-1 (as of 2nd edition): Exposed
secondary circuits
CAUTION
Risk of device failure
Use only monitors, mounting parts, and
connection cables approved by Dräger.
NOTE
The data transmission of the gas analysis data
must be activated by DrägerService or the
authorized local service partner.
