Chock the drums to prevent the roller moving
when the brakes are mechanically disengaged.

Set a steel bar in the pump lever (2) and pump by
moving the bar up and down until the brakes release
or until a certain amount of hydraulic resistance can be
felt.
The brakes are now disengaged and the roller can be
towed at LOW speed.
