The trips are delayed by the setting at [Protection Para / 50J[x]] »t«. Use the start delay to
block tripping and alarming until the motor current drops to continuous load level. Use
run delays to avoid nuisance alarms or trips for load transients.
Commissioning Test Description
Make the following settings:
• [Protection Para / 50J[x]] »t« = 1 s
•
[Protection Para / 50J[x]] »Pickup« = 2.00 FLA
Apply current of magnitude “2 FLA” for less than one second. The EMR-3MP0 should not
trip. Apply the same current for 3 seconds. The EMR-3MP0 should trip in 2 to 3 seconds.
