5.1 Waveform Recorder
• Waveform records can be downloaded (read out) by means of the parameter setting
and evaluation software PowerPort-E.
• The waveform records can be viewed and analyzed within QualityManager (will be
installed with PowerPort-E).
• Waveform records can be converted into the COMTRADE 󰊎le format by means of
QualityManager.
The waveform recorder works with 32 samples per cycle. It can be started by any of eight
con󰊎gurable start signals.
The waveform record contains the measuring values including the pre-trigger time. By
means of PowerPort-E / QualityManager, the oscillographic curves of the analog (current,
voltage) and digital channels/traces can be shown and evaluated in a graphical form.
The waveform recorder has a storage capacity of 120 s (duration). The amount of records
depends on the size of each record.
Read Out Waveform Records
Within the [Operation / Recorders / Waveform rec] menu, the user can see the
accumulated waveform records.
NOTICE!
Within the [Operation / Recorders / Man. Trigger] menu, the user can trigger the
waveform recorder manually.
Deleting Waveform Records at the Panel
Within the [Operation / Recorders / Waveform rec] menu, the user can:
• Delete waveform records;
• Choose the waveform record that is to be deleted
via »SOFTKEY« »up« and »SOFTKEY« »down«;
• Call up the detailed view of the waveform record via »SOFTKEY« »right«;
• Con󰊎rm by pressing »SOFTKEY« »delete«;
•
Enter the password followed by pressing the »OK« key;
• Choose whether only the current or all waveform records should be deleted; and
• Con󰊎rm by pressing »SOFTKEY« »OK«.
Con󰃡guring the Waveform Recorder
The waveform recorder can be con󰊎gured in the [Device Para / Recorders / Waveform rec]
menu.
