Replacing Parts
To replace the copier interface board
1 Seat the copier interface board in connector PCI-E on the motherboard.
The board connector is keyed to fit in the motherboard only when properly oriented.
2 Secure the copier interface board to the chassis with the two mounting bracket screws that you removed earlier.
3 Reassemble the EB-34 and verify its functionality (see page 72).
User Interface Board
The User Interface Board (UIB) provides the interface between the EB-34 and the user. The front of the UIB contains
circuitry for the following:
• Activity lights (amber, green, and red LEDs)
• Display window (LCD)
• Four line selection buttons
• Up and Down buttons
• Menu button
• Jewel lights
